Global X-Ray & Testing Corporation has technicians and engineers with the experience to recognize potential problems that are outside of the job scope. These situations will be brought to the customer’s attention.

The engineering division of Global X-Ray & Testing Corporation has certified technicians and API 510 inspectors who have the experience to perform all levels of Ultrasonic and Radiographic inspections on pipelines, interconnecting piping, tanks, and pressure vessels.

All technicians in the engineering department are (at a minimum) trained, tested and certified as Level II technicians, to Global X-Ray & Testing Corporation’s criteria which meets or exceeds the guidelines in the ASNT document SNT-TC-1A. We also have API 510 Inspectors and certified Level III technicians certified in accordance with SNT-TC-1A .

API 510 inspectors assigned to the engineering division of Global X-Ray & Testing Corporation are certified for visual inspection of equipment and for reviewing calculations.

Engineers assigned to the engineering division of Global X-Ray & Testing Corporation have degrees in Chemical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering or Petroleum Engineering. They have experience in pressure vessel and system design. Our Engineering Manager and Senior Staff Engineer have previous experience working in the engineering department and offshore for a major oil production company. They offer first hand knowledge in dealing with oilfield equipment, processes and piping.
